What is the PhysioRoom Thumb Stabiliser Support Splint?
This easy to wear splint is designed for use following fractures and injuries to the thumb and also to protect against skier’s thumb.
When can I use it?
Wear while skiing to help prevent skier’s thumb and also to speed up the healing process of a fractured thumb or sprain.
Which size do I need?
To help selecting the correct size, remove all clothing from the area, measuring above clothing may cause the wrong size to be ordered or the product to not fitting correctly.
Please use a tailors tape measure to take your measurement.
If your measurement is between two sizes, choose the larger size.
Measure the circumference of your wrist and the length from the wrist to the top of the thumb.
Small: Wrist circumference: 14 – 15.5cm / Length of splint (from wrist to the middle of the thumb) 16cm
Medium: Wrist circumference: 16 – 17.5cm / Length of splint (from wrist to the middle of the thumb) 16.2cm
Large: Wrist circumference: 18 – 19.5cm / Length of splint (from wrist to the middle of the thumb) 16.4cm
X-Large: Wrist circumference: 20 – 21cm / Length of splint (from wrist to the middle of the thumb) 16.5cm

How does it work?
Reduces thumb pain following a fracture or sprain by stabilising the digit.
This will also help to prevent further injury and shorten the healing duration.
Metal stays are used within the support to achieve this by limiting movement of the thumb. Please note the splint can not be removed.
This is also a popular product amongst skiers as it supports the base of the thumb joint, an area often injured during skiing.
Hand-wash only cold and dry flat.
